The executive director of National Institute for the Protection of Consumer Rights (Pro Consumer), Eddy Alcantarahighlighted today the reasonable behavior that exists within the national trade between suppliers and consumers, which he said has allowed to solve multiple problems of the past.
He affirmed that from the new management of the government, this institution has managed to resolve all the cases found in conflicts, ensuring that at this time they have no pending issues.
In that sense, Alcantara He stated that complex cases such as the sale and distribution of adulterated alcohol, devil’s acid and misleading advertising were resolved, most of them through conciliation.
“Previously there were sectors that had resistance to the entity because it was believed that through Law 358-05, appeared to be an entity persecuting the productive sectors, but now there has been a socialization of reasonable behavior within the trade between suppliers and consumers and that has led to the search for future solutions, because the conflicts found were resolved by this direction and we have nothing pending”, he indicated.

The head of Pro Consumidor spoke after a meeting with directors of the Strategic Development Council of Santiago (CDES), to learn about the Strategic Plan of Santiago.
