This Monday at 6:00 p.m. Alberto Fernandez will lead the act of promulgation of the Tax Relief Law for monotributistas and self-employed, which was approved last week in the Senate.
The event that will preside Alberto Fernandez will be held at the Casa Rosada Bicentennial Museum and will take place after the head of state Silvina Batakis was sworn in as the new Minister of Economy.
This would be the first public act in which he participates. Alberto Fernandez after the unexpected resignation of Martín Guzmán as Minister of Economy. This was harshly criticized during his administration by different political forces, especially by the Frente de Todos.
In his letter of resignation, the minister assured that “these were complicated months that were marked by an absolutely unique scenario” and that, despite leaving the Government portfolio, he will continue “working and acting for a more just, free and sovereign Homeland.”
Meanwhile, on the law that the president will sanction today, this initiative was promoted by the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa, and will benefit 4.5 million monotributistas and 140,000 self-employed.
The project was approved unanimously in the Senate, just before the AFIP (Federal Administration of Public Revenues) carried out the recategorization of the scales of the simplified regime.
With this measure, the billing limits are extended in each of the scales of the monotaxwithout affecting the value of the fees paid by taxpayers, since the project seeks that they do not have to pay a higher rate due to inflation.
Alberto Fernández will take the oath of Silvina Batakis
this same Monday, President Silvina Batakis will be sworn in to replace Economy Minister Martín Guzmán. Batakis, who arrives at the portfolio in the midst of a complex scenario, will have the challenge of complying with the agreement with the IMF (International Monetary Fund).
In addition, the new minister will have to reduce inflation, the deficit and define the new segmentation of rates for gas and energy users. To this end, this morning, the Head of State and the Minister met to draw up the roadmap for the Government’s economic plan.
