This Wednesday, Alberto Fernandez continues with its local agenda and will travel to the Buenos Aires municipality of San Martín to deliver notebooks, within the framework of the Connect Equality program.
During the event, President Alberto Fernandez He will be accompanied by the Minister of Education, Jaime Perczyk, with whom he will deliver the technological equipment to high school students from state schools.
Through this program, the government of Alberto Fernandez seeks to guarantee access to connectivity, through the delivery of free computers throughout the country, with the aim of reducing the social and digital divide in the territory, especially in schools.
For this reason, with the purpose of reaching more young people and adolescents from state-run schools, this year it is expected to deliver one million computers; however, not all students will be able to access the equipment, since the Ministry of Education established a series of conditions to deliver them.
Among them, that the students have regularity in a state management school, that they are in an unfavorable economic situation, in addition to other conditions that the institution must meet.
To receive the computers, the students do not need to register in any way, since the distribution corresponds to the local educational ministries, according to the criteria established by the Ministry of Education.
The event that will preside Alberto Fernandezwill start at 11:00 a.m. Then at 4:00 p.m. President will present, together with the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, the Fierritas program for the prevention of anemia.
