In the next few hours, President Alberto Fernández will confirm the disbursement of a special bonus aimed at the Public employees. It would be in accordance with the negotiations held between the representatives of the Government and the unions.
The bonus requested by the unions and for the collaborators It was 25 thousand pesos, while since the Government estimates that the amount will be 20 thousand. The date the Public employees will begin to receive the disbursement was not disclosed.
In recent weeks, the Minister of Labor, Claudio Moroni, met with representatives of ATE (Association of State Workers) and the UPCN (Union of Civil Personnel of the Nation) to discuss the needs of the Public employees.
In total there will be 387 thousand state workers benefited; among them there are 191,000 civilians and 197,000 security and armed forces personnel. The fund would be paid in installments: the first of it on the eve of the Christmas holidays.
The approval of the funds comes after the holiday was established for the Public employees because of the holidays. Decree 861 establishes that they will not work on December 24, 25 and 31, in addition to January 1 of next year.
The retiree bonus
A week ago, Alberto Fernández announced a year-end bonus for retirees and pensioners. Those who collect the minimum credit will receive a disbursement of 8 thousand pesos and the amount will be reduced until benefiting those who receive less than 37 thousand.
The benefit for retirees has already begun to be granted according to the ID number and the last delivery will be made on Thursday, December 23. The subsidy is not subject to discounts and does not cover the Retirement and Pension Regimes of the Police Forces or the Penitentiary Service of the provinces.
