Alberto Fernández travels to Germany to participate in the G7

On Monday, Alberto Fernández will arrive at the official headquarters of the G7 Summit, where Foreign Minister Scholz will receive him.

President Alberto Fernández leaves this Saturday for Germany to participate as a guest at the G7 summit and hold bilateral meetings with the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

The president will be accompanied by a delegation made up of the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa; Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero; the Secretary General of the Presidency, Julio Vitobello; the Legal and Technical Secretary, Vilma Ibarra; the Secretary for Strategic Affairs, Gustavo Beliz; the spokeswoman for the Presidency, Gabriela Cerruti; and the Argentine ambassador to the United States, Jorge Argüello.

According to the official schedule Fernandez will arrive at the Munich international airport at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday (9:30 a.m. Argentine time) and his first official activity will be from 6:00 p.m. (1:30 p.m. Argentine time) when he holds a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, at the Bayerischer Hotel Hoff.

From 20 (15 in Argentina), the President will participate in the welcome activity of the five countries invited to the G-7 which will take place at the Cuvilliés Theater in Munich Residenz.

There he will be received by the Minister President of Bavaria, Markus Soder, he will sign the book of honor, he will attend a show by the Bavarian State Opera, and he will participate in a dinner offered in honor of the invited Heads of State.

On Monday, starting at 12 noon (7 Argentine time), Alberto Fernández will arrive at Schloss Elmau, the official venue for the G7 Summit, where he will be received by Foreign Minister Scholz.

The president will participate in the first plenary meeting of the G7, a working lunch, and then be part of the traditional “family photo” that brings together the summit participants.

Starting at 2:20 p.m. (9:20 a.m. in Argentina), Fernández will hold a bilateral meeting with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and forty minutes later he will do the same with Scholz.

Starting at 3:30 p.m. (10:30 a.m. in Argentina), he will participate in the second plenary meeting of the G7 and at 6:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m.) he will attend the dinner offered by the German chancellor.
