Alberto Fernández traveled to Germany to participate in the G7 Summit

President Alberto Fernandez will participate as a guest of the G7 summit, held in Germany, to represent the countries of the southern hemisphere. The forum brings together the world’s most influential economies and will discuss the effects of the war in Ukraine.

The mandatary he will arrive in Munich tomorrow at noon and his participation in the G7 summit will start on Monday, when he will be received by the German chancellor, Olaf Scholz. Alberto Fernandez will have a short stay and is expected to return to Buenos Aires on Monday night.

Fernández is the only Latin American president who was invited to the summit.

Alberto Fernandez will be at the two plenary sessions of the G7 that will be held in the Bavarian castle of Elmau, where there will also be bilateral meetings. Argentina was invited after the president’s tour of Europe where he met for the first time with Scholz.
