This Friday, Alberto Fernandez will lead the official launch of the satellite connectivity plan in primary health care centers. The event will be held at the Kirchner Cultural Center.
During the event, President He will be accompanied by the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti. With the program, the administration of Alberto Fernandez It seeks to improve the care of the health system, with which, in addition, barriers to access to the system are eliminated.
This, since with the satellite connectivity plan, health centers will be able to interrelate between all their levels and subsystems, which, in addition, will allow improving administrative communication, according to the Government of Alberto Fernandez.
Through this project, health centers will also have internet accesswhich will make it easier for citizens to receive more efficient care.
In addition, users will be offered the possibility of making teleconsultations, especially when primary health centers are located in areas of difficult access. If necessary, after the teleconsultation, the patient can be referred for a face-to-face check-up.
The Government’s strategy seeks to connect more than 1,600 primary care health centers in 19 provinces of Argentina to the Internet. In this sense, it seeks to extend the Federal Telehealth Network, which began more than 25 years ago at Garrahan Hospital.
Another of the objectives of this program is to articulate the most extensive telehealth network, which, at the same time, will allow the creation of a digital hospital and a mobile application for its management.
