President Alberto Fernandez greeted this Sunday the Jewish community on the occasion of the celebration of his New Year and wished her “best wishes.”

“With the appearance of the first star, this September 25, the Jewish people begin the celebration of Rosh HashanaFernandez said on his Twitter account.

And he added: “My best wishes to the entire Argentine Jewish community in this new year, 5783. Shaná Tová Umetuká!”which is an omen of “good and sweet year”.

Fernández added to his words an image with apples and honey, foods that are traditional in this celebration of the Jewish community.
