President Alberto Fernández celebrated this Tuesday afternoon the victory of Argentina over Croatia 3-0, for the semifinals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and stressed that “These players, this coaching staff and the entire delegation have had an incredible World Cup.”
Fernández wrote on his Twitter and Instagram accounts that “These players, this coaching staff and the entire delegation have had an incredible World Cup, putting Argentina at the top”.
“They showed us that the path to glory is always as a team,” added the president.
And he sent a hopeful message for the final: “On Sunday, more than ever and with all the enthusiasm, let’s go Argentina!”.
The head of state followed the alternatives of the match from the Presidential Fifth in Olivos and accompanied his post with a video of one minute and 21 seconds that reviews different moments of the team in this World Cup.
Argentina won this Tuesday 3-0 against the Croatian team with a penalty goal from Lionel Messi and two goals from Julián Álvarez, and sealed their ticket to the World Cup final. On Sunday at 12 he will face the winner of the semifinal that France and Morocco will play this Wednesday.
