Alberto Fernandez asked "avoid actions that deepen gender inequality"

President Alberto Fernández asked this Tuesday, within the framework of the International Day of Working Women, that men “reflect” and “take charge” not only when accompanying them but also avoiding “those actions that deepen gender inequality” , and highlighted their “tireless work” which, he said, “moves the world and is putting Argentina on its feet.”

“On a new International Day of Working Women, I want to recognize all of them for their struggle and tireless work, which moves the world and is putting Argentina on its feet,” The Head of State pointed out through a message published on his official Twitter social network account.

In addition, He asked the men to reflect on the importance of the feminist struggle: “It’s time for us to take charge. It’s not just accompanying them, we must rethink and avoid those actions that deepen gender inequality. Only then will we be a better society, only then will #NiUnaMenos not be lacking.”

This Tuesday, Fernández will lead an act for the International Day of Working Women in the Buenos Aires party of José C. Paz, accompanied by the head of the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (Inadi), Victoria Donda; the Secretary for Equality and Diversity Policies of the Nation, Marita Perceval; and the Mexican writer and researcher Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller.

Before, at 13, the President will receive Gutiérrez Müller and the Mexican ambassador to Argentina, Lilia Rossbach.

The meeting will be at Casa Rosada and Fernández will be accompanied by the Minister of Women, Gender and Diversity, Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta; and the Legal and Technical Secretary of the Presidency, Vilma Ibarra.
