Through a formal act, Alberto Fernandez announced a support plan for the National Agency for the Promotion of Research, Technological Development and Innovation (R+D+i Agency).
As indicated President$15,000 million will be allocated to the agency this year, to carry out projects for the development of science and technology, as stated Alberto Fernandez.
In addition, Alberto Fernandez assured that “there is no money better invested than the one invested in education, science and technology”, since this translates into greater development for nations.
In this sense, the president also indicated that he will work so that the country has a real development, “we want all of Argentina to grow, not just to invest in the capital city but in all of Argentina; that’s real development“.
In turn, the Head of State explained that even during the pandemic, the Government did not stop in favor of the country’s growth.
“We grew more than 10%, how did the pandemic stop us? We are survivors of a pandemic, little by little it will be a chapter of our lives,” he said.
Alberto Fernández highlighted the country’s scientific progress
In the middle of his speech, President praised the work of scientists, researchers and technological specialists in the country, this, since the nation seeks to become a producer of coronavirus vaccines.
“We have such capacity; Argentine vaccines are being created, we have the scientific capacity to be able to do it and we have the industry capable of producing it“, he expressed.
For this reason, the president is convinced that every day it is more necessary to invest in technological and innovation projects to make the industry grow.
In relation to the resources allocated to the R+D+i Agency, initially 6,000 million pesos will be granted to projects that will be carried out in scientific institutions and universities throughout the country, and later SMEs will be supported.
