President Alberto Fernández and the governor of Formosa, Gildo Insfrán, will deliver this Wednesday 476 homes in the La Nueva Formosa neighborhood of the capital city of the province.

The event, scheduled for 7:00 p.m., will be attended by the Minister of Territorial Development and National Habitat, Santiago Maggiotti.

Within the framework of the set of housing policies carried out by the Government of the province of Formosa, through the Provincial Housing Institute (IPV), “the dream of 476 families from Formosa will come true, who will have access to their own roof in a true act of social justice” reported from the provincial government.

In his last visit to Formosa on Thursday, December 15, to formally inaugurate the “Pdte. Dr. Néstor C. Kirchner” Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy Center, the head of state had anticipated that he would return before Christmas to deliver the housing units.

For his part, engineer Marcelo Ugelli, general administrator of the IPV, said -according to a statement from the provincial Communications Undersecretary- that “in Governor Insfrán’s management of housing policy, we work every day for this, with planning, through a model of social and federalist inclusion, accompanied by the National Government”.

And confirmed: “We are working on 100 percent of the houses that are yet to be finished.”

With respect to the La Nueva Formosa neighborhood, Ugelli explained that of the 5,400 planned homes “we have delivered close to 3,200”, while “advancing with the construction of houses continues.”

At the same time, he stressed that This urbanization has all the services of “sewer networks, electricity, drinking water and public lighting”, and everything necessary “so that the neighbors who live there can develop with dignity.”

Likewise, the head of the IPV indicated that a Child Development Center (CDI) is being built and a Multipurpose Room (SUM) is being finished.

Finally, he stated that, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Territorial Development and National Habitat, “70,000 homes have already been delivered to the presidency of Alberto Fernández and 100,000 more are in the process of being built.”
