Albert Fernandez: "We are next to those who today seek to progress"

President Alberto Fernández led an act of the Justicialist Party (PJ) on Thursday at the Tucuman branch of the Association of Health Workers (ATSA), where he stated that it is possible to “live in a better country” and that the national government is “next to those who today seek progress“.

“We all know that we can live in a better countryand we are on the side of those who seek to progress today,” Fernández said.

In this regard, the president stated: “We are next to those who today do not have a jobthose who are fallen into the pit of povertythe teachersthose who defend public healththose who build public worksthe entrepreneurs who take risks and give work, but not next to those who speculate”.

During the activity, the president was accompanied by the vice-governor in charge of the Provincial Executive, Osvaldo Jaldo; the chief of staff, Juan Manzur; and the Minister of Security, Aníbal Fernández.

“We took care of a country that was in a very difficult situationbecause they left us with extremely high inflation, a lot of poverty and a level of indebtedness such as Argentina had never had before,” Fernández recalled and specified: “I then told you that it was possible to begin to change the lives of Argentines and build the country we deserved.

The president pointed out that “in the subsequent context of the pandemic we had to resolve a debt of 100 billion dollars that we had with private creditors, and in the midst of that same pandemic we reached an agreement that allowed Argentines to save, after 10 years, 38 billion dollars because we stood up and negotiated firm“.

The head of state reviewed a series of measures that the national government took to take care of registered employmentimprove universal allowances and the income of retirees and pensioners, about which he stated: “Nothing stopped us in our decision to improve the living conditions of our people“.

For his part, Manzur pointed out that Fernández “represents” the Peronist leaders in difficult times, of anxiety, and who took charge of a country in intensive care“.

Meanwhile, when taking the floor, Jaldo assured that the people of Tucumán feel “accompanied as never before by the national government, which is a government that has a federal look, with concrete facts and not only with words“.

For his part, Aníbal Fernández stressed that the President “doesn’t shrink and says things as they are, he takes substantive decisions with criteria and seriousnessand has taken over a decimated countryin pieces, with a pandemic and complications”, so “it is always predisposed for people to improve their quality of life and their daily growth”.

As part of his official visit to the province, the president will lead on Friday in San Miguel de Tucumán the signing of agreements for the construction of two city halls for almost 600 million pesos, which will have the objective of advancing in a solution to the prison crisis in that district.

The head of state also visited the city of Salta on Thursday, where he led the act of delivery of housing and loans Own House for construction, both in number 40 thousand of their management.
