The Executive Secretariat of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Trade Treaty of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP) reaffirmed its support for the sovereignty, independence and self-determination of the people of Palestine.
This was announced by the alliance through a statement published on its Twitter account, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
In the document, ALBA-TCP expressed its solidarity with the victims and relatives of the attacks, rejected the violence and urged the UN to adopt urgent measures to promote a peaceful, comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the conflict.
Likewise, it demanded those who perpetuate the occupation to cease these actions and respect international law.
He indicated that the only solution acceptable to the international community to the conflict is to establish two States on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine.
Every November 29, the international community demands compliance with Resolution 181 of the United Nations General Assembly, approved in 1947.
This legal framework established the division in two of the Palestinian territory, to give rise to the creation of two States with Jerusalem under a special international regime.
75 years after that resolution, approved in the US city of New York, Palestine continues to demand its rights under the principles established by the UN.

The Executive Secretariat of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) commemorates the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and reaffirms its support for the sovereignty, independence and self-determination of the Palestinian people and requires those who perpetuate the occupation to cease their actions, to respect international law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
It demands compliance with the pertinent resolutions of the United Nations Organization (UN) and ratifies that the only solution acceptable to the international community is the establishment of the two States, on the pre-1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Palestine.
