The Secretary General of the Alliance, Rander Peña, said that they process a meeting with the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum
In Mexico City, various work meetings were held with a special mission of the Bolivarian Alliance for the peoples of Our America (Alba-TCP) with authorities of that North American nation, to denounce the shameless violation of international treaties by the United States government, specifically the Tlatelolco protocol, which prohibits the sending and use of war and nuclear material to the Latinocaribeña region.
The general secretary of the Alliance, Rander Peña, accompanied by the delegation that represents the regional bloc, informed that “this special mission brings the concern to see how Latin America and the Caribbean are threatened, but also brings concrete actions to protect the peace of the region, to protect the proclamation and validity of Latin America as a peace zone, thus declared by the presidents and chiefs of government in 2014, during the meeting of the community of Latin American states (CELAC) in Havana Cuba. ”
During a recess after sustained meetings with Mexican authorities, Peña denounces the aggressions, threats to use military weapons against Venezuela and the sovereign countries of the continent.
“It is an obvious concern to violate the Tlatelolco treaty, after what has been the military deployment by the United States, the sending of nuclear submarines to the Caribbean region, violating the protocol that indicates that nuclear powers cannot send nuclear artillery to countries in the region, Peña said.
“This special mission of ALBA has been very well received by Mexico,” he corroborated, after the development of different work meetings that are part of the mandate of governments and integral countries of the Bolivarian Alliance.
He said they process an encounter with the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum. “We are going to deliver an important letter to President Sheinbaum and we are in the process of meetings here in Mexico City,” he concluded.
