The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) congratulated Valdrack Jaentschke on Friday for his appointment as the new foreign minister of Nicaragua.
“We congratulate the appointment of our colleague Valdrack Jaentschke as the new Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua. The ALBATCP is an irreplaceable symbol of the brotherhood between our countries,” He stated on his Telegram channel The executive secretary of the regional bloc, Jorge Arreaza, reported AVN.
He also highlighted the work carried out in recent years by former Foreign Minister Denis Moncada. “We thank our colleague Denis Moncada for his commitment to the union,” he added.
Valdrack Ludwing Jaentschke Whitaker was appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs this Thursday by President Daniel Ortega, replacing Moncada, for health reasons.
Jaentschke Whitaker, a career diplomat who has held other posts abroad representing his country, is currently serving as the president’s adviser on international affairs.
