The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Treaty of Trade of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP) firmly and energetically condemns the illegal and provocative incursion of combat aircraft of the United States, at an approximate distance of 75 kilometers from the Venezuelan coasts, constituting a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Venezuelan people and international law.

These acts of systematic military harassment by the aggressor power are framed in a pattern of aggressions that seek to destabilize the region, instill fear and impose a logic of intimidation of imperial doctrine. The Alliance reiterates its unwavering commitment to the defense of Latin America and the Caribbean as a peace zone and calls international organizations to pronounce and denounce this warrist provocation policy, which threatens regional security and stability.

ALBA-TCP warns that the repetition of this type of actions not only violates the sovereignty of a Member State, but also compromises the security of civil and commercial aviation in the Caribbean, generating unacceptable risks for regional stability. The alliance reaffirms that Latin America and the Caribbean will not accept being treated as a area of foreign military operations and will maintain their determination to preserve peace and independence against all forms of interference.
