AKT Motos now arrives in Curaçao and Trinidad and Tobago

AKT Motorcycles It has a presence in 18 countries in South America, Central America and the Caribbean, being the only Colombian motorcycle brand with stores abroad. In this way, it announces its arrival in two new Caribbean countries: Curaçao and Trinidad and Tobago.

For the company, having a presence in these countries has meant the sale of more than 100,000 motorcycles in these markets, with 700 stores. This translates into generate 10,000 jobs together with the Unicomer Group, its main distributor.

Central America, without a doubt, is an exceptional market and has helped us reinforce the idea that we want to convey of a close brand that, through its products, transforms lives. In addition, it challenges us to continue innovating and to think about the needs of each country, which is why today we have a broad portfolio that seeks to improve the quality of life of our customers, being the only Colombian motorcycle brand with an international presence, for what the commitment intensifies”, affirmed Alejandro González, director of foreign sales of AKT.

NEW 100% ELECTRIC KARGUERO

Within the framework of the 2 Wheels Fair, AKT Motos not only praises its expansion but also the novelties in its portfolio. That is why it presents its new 100% electric, light and easy to handle karguero. A zero emission vehicle that has a 2500W motor and a range of 50-70 km per charge. Its maximum load is 500 Kg and it is capable of reaching a speed of up to 40 km/h. In additionhas three driving modes and has features such as: hydraulic disc brake, force multiplier, digital dashboard and LED headlight.

AKT started with sales on WhatsApp and achieved 27 units at first and reached a record 924 units sold through this medium last March.

By the end of this year, they have the goal of reaching 1,400, this being the digital channel through which the most sales are presented. Currently, 8% of its total sales correspond to these virtual media. Due to the success of digitization, they plan to offer their customers the possibility of buying both motorcycles and accessories on the platforms of their allies: Alkomprar, Alkosto, Success and Rappi. With the latter, they already have a wellness program for rappitenderos in which they get a 5% discount on motorcycles and 15% on accessories and spare parts.
