Adjustments in 44% of the first circle of the President

This year the federal government will allocate a public and private investment of 12 thousand 358 million pesos for airport infrastructure. According to the 2022 Work Program of the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), the resources will also be for the modernization of various Mexican airports and to reinforce aviation security in order to guarantee efficient and reliable operations for users.

The public investment in airport infrastructure by the SICT amounts to 2 thousand 529.6 million pesos, which will be used mainly for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) and the restructuring of the airspace.

The AICM will receive 680.9 million, of which 126 million are its own resources; Navigation Services in Air Space (Seneam), 800 million, and Airports and Auxiliary Services (ASA), 922.7 million pesos.
