For exercising transformative management in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and SMEs (MICM) during the period 2020-2024
The Association of Industries of the country (AIRD), by unanimous decision of its Board of Directors, recognized the minister Victor Bisono (Ito)“for exercising transformative management in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) during the period 2020-2024, with personal and constant monitoring of issues of strategic interest for the Dominican industrial sector, with a sincere focus on public-private collaboration and the institutional strengthening of our union.”
When presenting the recognition plaque, Julio Virgil Brachepresident of AIRD, highlighted the unprecedented support that Bisonó has offered to Dominican industrialists.
“The ministry has a great team of people who identify with the national industry. They have supported us in all matters and have given us funds for them. The seal made in the Dominican Republic has been a turning point for the national industry, which has allowed it to have an identity card.“, Brache explained during a lunch at AIRD.
Bisonó expressed his gratitude for the award, expressed his optimism about the future, and confirmed his willingness to continue advancing toward common goals for the country. He recalled that President Luis Abinader “believes in public-private partnerships; he believes that they generate good jobs, generate competition, generate exports.”
During the meeting, the minister and the businessmen discussed various issues on the common agenda and confirmed the interest of both parties in strengthening inter-institutional collaboration in order to continue promoting the local industry.
