An aircraft considered hostile was located in the Médano Blanco sector, Bolivarian Guajira Indigenous municipality, Zulia state, according to a report from Detachment 112 of the Bolivarian National Guard to which we had access.
The aircraft is a Beechcraft, model Barón B-58, with no visible initials inside which they located two rifles: AR-15, caliber 5.56X45 and Carbon-15 Pistol, caliber 5.56X45. They also found an optical sight, two rifle magazines and 104 cartridges: sixteen 7.62×39 caliber and 88 5.56X45 caliber cartridges.
In the plane they also found tactical equipment, two bulletproof vests, four telephone sets, two satellite sets, a GPS, a smart watch, some documents, a passport of Brazilian origin, four mobile top-up cards and two boxes of beer in can.
This Monday morning, the aforementioned aircraft was disabled, reported General Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), who posted a video of the moment the Beechcraft was set on fire, which violated the “aerospace regulations”.
