The Air Europa Suma loyalty program has managed to reach two million customers worldwide. To celebrate, the company surprised the passenger with whom this significant figure was reached, with a series of personalized details on their flight from Rome to Madrid, thus thanking them for the trust placed in the airline. The moment also reflects the upward trend of Air Europa Suma, which currently registers an average of more than 35,000 monthly registrations, a figure that shows its good acceptance. Air Europa Suma’s objective for this financial year is to continue being one of the most complete, agile, attractive, innovative and close loyalty programs in the sector for air transport users.

In addition, Air Europa Suma will also allow users to exchange their Miles for Air Europa services this year. Until now, the traveler could do it by flights, both from Air Europa and from the rest of the airlines of the SkyTeam alliance; as well as in exchange for a wide variety of services provided by program partners, such as hotel stays, car rentals, fuel, online shopping and even insurance. Now, throughout this year, it will also be possible to do so not only for ancillaries or additional services, but also for purchases on board or for access to airport VIP lounges. To do this, the airline is adapting the technological platform that will allow Miles to become a form of payment for Air Europa, available to customers using the program.

Air Europa also continues to work to add new partners to the loyalty program with the aim of guaranteeing that the passenger has a more complete and satisfactory travel experience. Currently, Air Europa Suma has more than 40 collaborators in the market; The challenge for 2023 is to work with new and recognized global partners that allow us to serve users in all the regions where the airline operates.

All these changes are aligned with Air Europa’s strategic proposal to carry out continuous improvement in its customer service. This means that Air Europa Suma is not just a Miles programme, but also a whole platform of new services and benefits to improve and personalize each travel experience. It is also worth noting the significant growth it is registering in international markets, where the number of registrations has increased by several percentage points, especially in Latin America.
