
The Spanish airline Air Europa has extended the period of cancellation of flights between Spain and Caracas at least until next January 11pending the evolution of the situation in Venezuela and the southern Caribbean due to tensions between the United States and Venezuela.
The company temporarily canceled flights to and from Caracas on November 24 and has not yet resumed them, so it offers customers free date and route changes, a voucher or a refund of the amount of the tickets due to this situation.
Air Europa recognizes losses
In an interview with EFE, the president of the Globalia and Air Europa group, Juan José Hidalgo, acknowledged a few days ago that the cancellation of these flights since the last week of November represents “many losses and many problems for users.”

Other airlines maintain suspension of flights
In addition to Air Europa, other companies such as Iberia and Plus Ultra (Spain) and TAP (Portugal) They maintain operations with Venezuela suspended and do not have flight authorization in this country by order of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC).
At the end of November, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, said on the Truth social network that Venezuelan airspace would remain closed “in its entirety,” amid growing tension between both countries.
