Ahumada: “It was a successful day and that shows the organizational power of the PRD”

The spokesperson for the José Gabriel Carrizo campaign, Omar Ahumada, estimated that the Democratic Revolutionary Party primaries were a complete success due to the number of people who came out to vote at the national level, demonstrating the power of the party in terms of organization and attendance at the elections.

“We have had a significant number, more than 400,000 people came out to vote and that shows the power in terms of organization and mobilization that the PRD has, many people thought that we were not going to be able to mobilize this percentage of more than 55% of the membership. In addition, the weather accompanied us throughout the day and I congratulate the members of the party who participated in this electoral party.

Regarding the triumph of Gaby Carrizo and what is coming now towards the 2024 election, Ahumada commented: “As of today we are in a unity process talking with the other pre-candidates who participated in these elections, the first thing is to heal wounds that may have arisen in these inmates, and what we are looking for in safeguarding the unity of the PRD, the candidate Carrizo is focused on this effort to go to all areas to talk with the candidates who lost the primaries to achieve the unity of the PRD» .
