Agua Marina broke his silence after the violent attack that occurred and assured that “a change in the presidency is no guarantee of improvement if the country continues to be governed by the same pacts, the same indifference and the same violence,” in reference to the recent presidential replacement in the midst of a new political crisis.
The attack that occurred during the show not only put the lives of the musicians at risk, but also those of hundreds of families attending the concert.
“The true transformation will come when Peruvians stop dying and concrete measures are adopted that return security and hope to the country,” the group expressed.
Agua Marina, symbol of Peruvian popular music, used its statement to demand a State that protects, that acts and that listens.
Intervention. On the other hand, César More Nizama, keyboardist of the Agua Marina orchestra, and native of the Catacaos district, who was seriously injured after the criminal attack, is recovering in Lima.
According to the family, the musician showed a slight improvement and his health was established, but hours later he underwent a surgical operation where doctors sought to fix his ribs 4, 5 and 6 on the left side, which were fractured as a result of a bullet projectile.
“Blessed be Almighty God. To Him be glory and honor! Our dear Caesar has emerged victorious from the operation,” they noted.
