The Federal Attorney General’s Office (AGU) appealed this Tuesday (8) to the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region (TRF1), based in Brasília, to overturn the decision that suspended the publication of the results of the tests of block 4 of the Unified National Competition (CNU)held across the country in August this year.
The decision was handed down on August 3rd by the court of the 14th Civil Court of the Federal District and was motivated by a popular action that contested the alleged leak of the block’s evidence, which contained questions about Work and Workers’ Health. The suspension is valid until the final judgment of the case, which does not yet have a date.
The alleged leak would have occurred at a high school in Recife. According to the lawsuit, the morning shift test inspectors mistakenly opened the sealed package with afternoon tests.
The tests were distributed to candidates, who filled in the identification fields and began solving the questions. The error was then noticed by Cesgranrio bank inspectors, and evidence was collected.
In the appeal, AGU maintains that the suspension harms the Public Administration and the candidates who took the exam. According to the organization, the mistake was corrected during the contest, and equality between the candidates was maintained.
The AGU also argued that the organization of the tests generated great mobilization from the federal government, demanding detailed planning and spending on logistics, security and the administration of the exams throughout the country.
“The repetition of the movement of this entire planned and already executed structure would only be justified by a really serious and duly proven fact, which is not the case in this case”, stated the agency.
