Agroexports exceeded US$7.8 billion

The agroexports Peruvian exports totaled more than US$7.8 billion, which meant a growth of 20.6% when compared to the same period in 2024, reported the Association of Exporters (ADEX).

The United States remained the main destination with US$2,392 million, followed by the Netherlands with US$1,136 million with positive variations of 22.8% and 22.1%, respectively.

For its part, Spain reached US$596.1 million, Chile US$334.9 million, Mexico US$281.9 million, China US$272.5 million, the United Kingdom US$269.9 million, Germany US$246.7 million, Ecuador US$243.5 million and Canada US$222.6 million.

Meanwhile, the union reported that fresh or dried avocado (US$1,232 million) was the most notable item, with an increase of 4.9% compared to the same period last year and represented 17.2% of all exports.

Also sent were cranberries (US$706.3 million), fresh grapes (US$701.6 million), whole or broken cocoa beans (US$645.3 million), fresh or dried mangoes (US$233 million), fresh or chilled asparagus (US$218.7 million), among others.

According to the Export Report – August 2025, prepared by CIEN-ADEX, in August fruits were the most important subsector of the agribusiness, with an increase of 41.4% compared to the same month in 2024.
