Agroexportations grew 21.4% in 2024

The Agroexportations 21.4% grew and reached the record of US $ 12,798 million in 2024, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) reported.

These foods reached more than 120 markets around the world. Midagri revealed that traditional agrarian shipping added US $ 1,230 million, mainly due to coffee outside sales without decaffeinating.

On the other hand, non -traditional agro -exports added US $ 11,567 million, a higher figure at 20.8% higher than what was observed in 2023. The main products of the ranking were: fresh blueberries, fresh grapes, palts and cocoa in raw grain.

Also highlighted by fresh asparagus, fresh mangoes, other citrus, animal food, quinoa US $ 133 million, and Paprika without crushing or spray. These 10 products together would concentrate 64.2% of the non -traditional exportable offer.

Midagri revealed that last year, fruits and vegetable exports reached US $ 7,628 million, which meant an increase of 17.1% if compared to a year earlier.

As for the main destinations of agricultural shipments, from the portfolio they revealed that the United States, Holland, Spain, England, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Germany, China, Canada are found. This group of countries concentrated 77.1% of the total FOB value exported in the study period.
