A joint effort between Agro Rural, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), and the mining company Southern Peru allowed dozens of small and medium agricultural producers to benefit through the reactivation of their economies.
The strategies used in this public-private initiative will be discussed today at the College of Engineers of Lima.
“At the event, the successful results of this joint work will be disseminated within the framework of financing mechanisms and execution modalities such as public investment projects and budget programs, which our institution develops as the Midagri executing agency, for the benefit of small and medium-sized businesses. producers in the agricultural sector. In the same way, the work model used for the rehabilitation of platforms in the province of Candarave, in Tacna, will be presented”, reported Agro Rural.
On the other hand, the mining company highlighted the progress of the construction of the new Fe y Alegría No. 52 school, which it finances in Ilo (Moquegua) and which is already 75% complete.
“It is estimated that the first semester of the year will end for the benefit of 1,180 students at the initial, primary and secondary levels,” he reported.
