The Rota Agro Brasil consortium won this Thursday (14) the concession auction of BRS 060 and 364 between the states of Goiás and Mato Grosso, better known as the Agro Route. 
The winner of the event was defined by the largest discount offered about the basic toll fare in the granted stretch. After dispute in Viva-Voz, The Rota Agro Brasil consortium offered 19.70% as a discount value, overcoming the event.
The investment in the rotation of the route is R $ 7.26 billion in improvements and the restructuring of this logistics corridor.
Auction
In the auction, the Rota Agro Brasil consortium competed with four other companies and consortia. Therefore, it was necessary a Viva-Voice stage after the presentation of the initial proposals, in which it competed with Way Concessions. The concession was obtained after a 22-wisdom throw dispute.
At this stage of Vivae, the Rota do Cerrado consortium could not participate, which had offered 10.55% discount on the toll value in the initial presentation of the proposals; VF Gomes Participações, which offered 0%; and EPR Participações, which offered 10.80% offer as a discount on the toll value. In the initial bids, the winning company had offered 17.18% discount on the toll fare, while Way had offered 16.10%.
The auction was held at B3, the São Paulo Stock Exchange, and was attended by the Ministers of Transport, Renan Filho, and Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro.
Agro route
The Agro route is one of the main logistics runners in the Midwest. According to the Ministry of Transport, the granting of this route should improve the flow of agricultural production, facilitate the distribution of food and reduce regional logistics inequalities.
The auctioned stretch comprises 490 kilometers between the cities of Rio Verde (GO) and Rondonópolis (MT) and has an intense traffic of cargo and walking vehicles. The concession, for a 30 -year period, foresees the duplication of 45 kilometers from the highway, 150 kilometers of additional lanes, road contours, marginal roads, stop and rest points (PPD) for truckers and four new pedestrian catwalks.
Currently, about 80% of the Mato Grosso highways, which occupies the first place in national grain production, are in good condition. In 2022, the index was 67%. In Goiás, the rate of federal roads in good condition reaches 86%. At the end of 2022, it was 70%.
