The deputy minister of Production and Marketing, Eulalio Ramírez on behalf of Minister of Agriculture, limber crossopened the Mango Fair 2022, to be held from June 15 to 19 in this province.
Expo Mango has the purpose of attracting producers, consumers and merchants from all over the country and the world. In this version more than 50 varieties of the fruit are presented.
Ramírez congratulated the producers grouped in the Mango Cluster for holding this great southern national fair.
He stated that, by order of the Dominican government, Agriculture will provide technical assistance and support to producers in the area. And he announced that with the implementation of the Siembra RD Program, small and medium producers will be supported to encourage family farming.

The fair has exhibitions and sales of products made with the fruit, technical seminars with talks and conferences of interest to the mango industry, and tours of plantations.
In addition, negotiating tables, contests, dishes and tastings, artistic and cultural presentations.
In this version, a posthumous tribute was paid to personalities who contributed to the success of the fair since its inception, to Nelson Camilo Landestoy (Chacho), Willy Rodríguez, Wiso Márquez and Gustavo Pimentel.
Present at the activity were German Báez, president of the Organizing Committee; Rafael Leger, president of the Mango Cluster; the mayor, Santo Ramírez; the civil governor, Yadhira Báez; the provincial senator, Milcíades Franjul and the Regional Director of Agriculture, Rafael Soto.
