Agriculture begins subsidized sale of bales for ranchers

With the aim of mitigating the effects of the drought that impacts the area of ​​the Northwest Linehe Department of agriculture launched a program of subsidized sale of bales of low-cost livestock feed, aimed at affected livestock producers due to the lack of rain.

The initiative seeks to guarantee the livestock feeding and provide direct support to the ranchers of this region, one of the hardest hit by the adverse weather conditions in recent months.

The person in charge of the agricultural area in Dajabón, Juan Ernesto Fernandezreported that this action is carried out following instructions from the Minister of Agriculture, Oliverio Espaillatand in compliance with the provisions issued by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinaderas part of government efforts to support the national agricultural sector.
