According to the reportprepared by the Address of Sectoral Economic Analysis of the Vice Ministry of Economic and Social Analysis, the exports agricultural accumulated between January and October added up US$937.8 millionwith a positive interannual variation of 37.2%. A note from the ministry updates the data on demand in both sectors.
Manufacture
The document also points out that the real value of the demand for products manufactured goods, an indicator that includes exports local manufacturing companies, the internal operations of manufacture and the exports manufacturing companies in free zones, was located in October RD$120,604.1 millionequivalent to an interannual growth of 5.8%.
He report highlights that the interannual behavior in October was influenced, mainly, by the performance of the exports of free zones and exports of manufacture local. These recorded, in real terms, increases in 10.3% and of 67.3%respectively.
About Tourism
According to him reportthe arrival of foreigners non-residents (ENR) stood at 455,582 tourists at the end of October 2024, for an increase of 3.1%, equivalent to 13.9 thousand additional tourists. It stands out that, until October, tourist arrivals reached 5.9 million, which is equivalent to an accumulated interannual variation of 6.8%.
