Like fentanyl, no one knows how the drug was stolen.
The CSS reported that after detecting the loss, on Monday, May 22, Dr. Carmen I. Guardia M., medical director of the “Dr. Manuel Ferrer Valdés”, to formally present the criminal complaint to the Public Ministry so that it can initiate the investigations.
It will be the responsibility of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine the circumstances in which the events occurred and the persons who could be involved.
The CSS management also requested an administrative audit as determined by the Organic Law of the entity.
“Once these phases have been completed, the authorities of the Social Security Fund will refrain from issuing judgments of any nature that may hinder the investigations that are being demanded in this delicate fact,” they said in a statement.
And they assured that they will not allow events of any kind that undermine the institutional patrimony and that are detrimental to the quality, safety and care to which their patients are entitled.
