Agafuc wins octal championship of the Brazilian blind football

Agafuc-RS (Gaucho Futsal Association for Blind) won, this Friday (12) at the Paralympic Training Center, in São Paulo, the Octa Championship of the Brazilian Blind Football Championship-Series A 2025, beating Corinthians-SP on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in regular time. With this achievement, Agafuc reached the third consecutive title in the competition, its eighth in history (after victories in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024), and remains the most winning team in the history of the tournament.

“We started losing, but we were able to look for the draw and win on penalties. Ricardinho scored a decisive goal, showing its quality, and overcoming the previous difficulties in the charges. It is a positive feeling. We got the eighth Brazilian title, crowning 15 years of work of the team. We knew the game would be difficult, but our players surpassed and deserve congratulations,” said the coach of the team Rafael.

Prior to the decision of the competition, the APACE-PB secured the bronze medal by defeating AMC-MT 2-0, with two goals from Paulinho.
