According to the default map, in December, the total debt amount fell at $ 6 billion, going to $ 404 billion. Already the average ticket of each pending also presented slowdown, from 1.89%, falling to R $ 1,465.73.
“Even though Serasa’s map still shows 73.5 million people in default, the fall at the end of the year shows that the consumer wants to regularize his accounts,” said company manager Aline Maciel.
In 19 of the 27 federation units, default decreased in December. Pernambuco (-5%) and Rondônia (-4.3%) were the states where there was the most reduction. Among the eight units that registered an increase in the number of defaults, Tocantins (+1.3%) and São Paulo (+0.8%) had the highest highs.
