The mayor of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Jhonny Fernández, met with representatives of the Three Thousand Plan and Villa Primero de Mayo to meet the urgent needs of both districts. Municipal secretaries and councilors from the ruling party also participated in the meeting.
At the conclusion of the meetings with the leaders of municipal districts 7 and 8, Fernández summarized the agreements reached. “We have analyzed each of the points that were on the agenda at their request. Each of them will be executed according to the schedule agreement,” explained the municipal authority.
The meetings with each of the leaders have allowed listen to the most urgent demands and requests. The mayor’s commitment is to attend to them according to the availability of resources as assigned by the POA.
Fernández tried to send a reassuring message to the neighbors who this morning complained to the Municipal Council about the modification of the POA. “There are Bs 3,400 million that will be invested in pavement, courts and schoolseverything that is programmed”.
One part of the meeting focused on projecting the needs of both districts. For this, Fernandez summoned the neighbors to the work tables that will be held from July and they will help define “the execution and monitoring of programs and projects for 2022 and the planning of the works that are needed for 2023.”
In the Plan Tres Mil the tables will open on July 1, while in Villa Primero de Mayo it will start on July 4. The municipal proposal for interaction with neighbors responds to a need to organize priorities. “We no longer want to improvise,” said the mayor.
The dynamic will be repeated in “each district so that in a planned and orderly way” programs and projects are worked on “according to the needs of each of the districts.”
