Mexico City, Mexico.- The young Cuban youtuber Hilda Núñez Díaz, known as hildinaleft the island with her baby, as confirmed today by herself through her social networks.
“Hello Family, the time has finally come for me to say goodbye, goodbye to my Cuba, to my friends, to my family, to the land where I was born,” he wrote this afternoon on his Facebook page. Although until now it is unknown where the young woman traveled, Hildina shared some photos of her with her baby and other members of her family.
On her channel, the young woman shared a video of how her last weeks in Cuba were, the people she helped and how she could not say goodbye to them or her friends because she kept her departure from Cuba a secret.
In March of this year, the youtuber, who is also a university professor, was detained and interrogated by State Security at the Operations Center in Santiago de Cuba, where she was threatened with going to prison.
These threats kept the young mother away from social networks in recent months.
Since last year Hildina is harassed and persecuted by the political police of the Cuban regime due to their publications on social networks, which show the serious economic and social crisis that the island is experiencing.
In December 2022, Hildina received “a call to action” from officials of the Universidad de Oriente due to her posts on social networks, in which she shows the reality that exists on the Island.
The academic recounted in her publication that during the meeting “they wanted to scare her a bit” and that, when leaving the meeting, the officials warned the youtuber that “if she kept making the videos, everything would reach another level.” .
The persecution against the young woman in her workplace was denounced by the Observatory of Academic Freedom (OLA), which warned about the probable expulsion of the young woman from the Universidad de Oriente.
