Néstor Zelaya, the director of the therapeutic community “La Razón de Vivir”, where young people with problematic drug use lived, will testify this Thursday before the prosecutor who is investigating the alleged acts of labor exploitation and reduction to servitude that occurred in centers of the Buenos Aires party of Berazategui, informed judicial sources.
“Zelaya will testify this Thursday,” the defense attorney, Marcelo Biondi, confirmed to Télam, and referring to the ruling on the releases, he said that “they were correct”, but that it was “arbitrary with respect to my client because he says that it could influence a witness “.
And he added: “There is no record in the case that no one has hindered, the resolution should have been the same for everyone, it was arbitrary, today we are going to defend Zelaya and we are going to produce proof of defense.”
On the other hand, Zelaya’s lawyer specified that for this Thursday a witness statement is expected of the prosecutor investigating the case, Daniel Ichazo, and that in the investigation of his client he is going to request that other witnesses appear on Friday or Monday.
