The Council of the Magistracy resolved today to annul the results of the knowledge test taken to access the position of Minister of the Supreme Court of Justice. The decision is due to a suspicion of fraud.
In the extraordinary session of the Council of the Magistracy held this Saturday morning, given the suspicion that one of the applicants accessed the list of answers to the knowledge exam, the plenary decided to annul the results.
“We apologize to the other applicants, but we do it to safeguard the right to access the position, they are details that we take care of, we want to contribute to making the process perfect”, said the president of the Council, Óscar Paciello.
the nThe new date for the exam was set for next Tuesday, February 23 and the review period goes until the 24th.
In addition, they moved for the evaluation to be applied in the main classroom of the Faculty of Law.
This modification It also forces the start of the public hearings stage to be moved, which finally passes to Tuesday, February 28, since the 27th is a holiday.
In total they are 38 applicants for the position of Minister of the Supreme Court of Justice, of which, 37 appeared to take the general knowledge exam. The only absence was due to illness.
On the day of the exam, a missing booklet was detected that would contain the marked answers and from which at least one applicant would have benefited.
