After ministerial adjustment, President Boric will resume his tour to the north visiting Colchane

After the ministerial adjustment that caused his agenda to be rearranged last week, President Gabriel Boric will resume his tour to the Tarapacá region this Wednesday.

The President will land at 9:15 in Iquique to visit the Colchane commune, an area affected by irregular migration and one of the borders where the Armed Forces began their deployment due to the Critical Infrastructure Law.

During this visit, the President will meet with Javier García, mayor of Colchane, and with civil society organizations in the area.

“We hope that the President can collect on the ground the needs, the events that happen and, of course, we will have the opportunity to present all the measures and actions that are urgent for us to be implemented,” said Mayor García about the visit of the Chief of State.

Later, once the meeting is over, at around 1:30 p.m., Boric will supervise the deployment of military personnel in the areas bordering Bolivia and will tour the Observation and Surveillance Point (POV) and the Colchane customs office.
