After mediation by the Ombudsman, MIVIOT will attend on Thursday to former officials who demand pending payments

Former officials of the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning (MIVIOT), who demand compliance with the payment of acquired rights such as: tenth and vacations, protested this Tuesday in front of the Ombudsman’s Office where they were attended by the defender Eduardo Leblanc González.

Leblanc González reported that for this case he is keeping a complaint open against MIVIOT for possible violation of rights.

He told the members of the Committee of ex-employees of MIVIOT that he fully understood the situation for which they are weighing and that is why the national human rights institution is following up on the case.

“Next Thursday they will be attended by the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning (MIVIOT),” said the Ombudsman to the group that protested in front of the facilities.

Since last August, the Ombudsman’s Office filed a complaint for alleged violation of rights and this group of former officials who were dismissed between 2019-2020 and another group between 2015-2016 receive accompaniment in order to protect their rights.
