During the homily of Father Hugo Ara, rector of the Cathedral and Vicar of Communication, in the Minor Basilica of San Lorenzo (Cathedral) in the capital of Santa Cruz, he spoke about dengue and garbage in the city, a situation that became evident in the last storm.
The priest maintained that we are all responsible for health and cleanliness de Santa Cruz and that is why he remembered the invitation to participate in this Sunday’s minga, promoted by the Church.
“The previous Sunday our Archbishop told us: ‘Santa Cruz is very dirty‘It must be cleaned in order to put an end to dengue and other diseases,” said Ara, remarking that we are all invited in the parishes, in the communities, to participate in the parish minga.
Ara remarked that the rain these days has made it possible to verify that there is a lot of trash in the houses themselves that have been filled with water.
“So, all committed to cleaning my door, the street, my neighborhood every day, we are all co-responsible for life and health of all of us,” Ara stressed.
The prelate also referred to the tolerance and dialogue to overcome differencesbecause if this possibility is not chosen, it is not possible to advance or fix the different points of view, because in his opinion, it is not with the violence that things are going to work out destroying assets.
“If we don’t talk, nothing is fixedit is not with violence that we are going to fix things, it is not by destroying assets that we are going to fix things, that is why the Lord invites us to this dialogue with Himhe, to reorient our lives,” said Ara.
During the Sunday mass, Ara reflected that there is currently a situation of uncertainty that the world is experiencing, that is why turn to the true messiahthe savior of the world to Jesus, the Nazarene, the Son of God alive in our midst.
“We can find God in situations as simple as dialoguethe conversation with someone who invites us to pay attention to him,” said Ara.
