After changing aircraft, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is expected to arrive in the country at around 10:30 am this Wednesday (2).
He participated, in Mexico City, in the inauguration ceremony of the new president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum.
According to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), the VC-1 presidential plane presented a technical problem after takeoff. After spending around five hours flying in circles to dump fuel, at an average altitude of around 3,800 meters above the ground, the aircraft landed safely at 10:16 pm this Tuesday (1st) at Felipe Ángeles International Airport ( Santa Lucia – NLU), which is one hour from Mexico City.
The president and his advisors then boarded another FAB aircraft heading to Brasília.
