The PAN’s decision to expel Senator Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez will accelerate his incorporation into Morena or the PVEM, which is already being negotiated, according to sources from the majority group.

The vote of the Veracruz native is decisive, since with it the Morena supporters and their allies will have a qualified majority in that Chamber, with the 86 votes necessary for any constitutional reform and some appointments.

On the subject, the general secretary of the PAN, Noemí Berenice Luna, also coordinator of the deputies blue and white, He commented that the process of expelling Yunes Márquez and his substitute, Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares, who is also his father, has only just begun. The legal deadlines will be respected so as not to violate their political rights, which surely do not interest them, but which they cynically invoke

Meanwhile, Yunes Linares, former governor of Veracruz, announced that he and his son will defend themselves against the expulsion process, seeking to remain in the ranks of the PAN.

In various radio interviews, he stated that even, will make a fool of themselves to the leadership of Marko Cortés for their attempt to expel them from the ranks of the PAN. He argued that the freedom of legislators to vote in the way they decide is not subject to sanction.
