The country reached 10,835 coronavirus infections this Tuesday after a reduction in cases for three consecutive days over the weekend, in this way the sustained increase that had occurred between Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of last week was resumed.
The alarming figure is that of the deceased, that reached 86 throughout the country and according to the reports of the Sedes, the deaths occurred in all the departments. This Tuesday Cochabamba had tragic figures, with 2,404 positive cases and eight deaths; Santa Cruz it reached 2,384 cases and 49 deaths, the highest number of deaths in the entire country; tarija climbed to third place with 1,485 patients with a positive diagnosis and six deaths; Peace presented 1,479 cases and eight deaths from Covid-19; Chuquisaca it reached 1,264 cases and one deceased.
Further down, the Headquarters Oruro reported 732 positive patients with coronavirus and five people who died from the disease; Potosi it reached 450 cases and four deaths, two men and two women; in beni they registered 417 infected people and two deceased; close panda with 220 cases and three people who died this Tuesday. Which makes a national total of 10,835 positive cases and 86 deaths.
On the other front are recovered patients and According to the Ministry of Health, there were 5,943 people who exceeded the disease this Tuesday, which means half of those who were infected; while the departmental governments assume the restrictions to alleviate the figures, although they did not give effective results in the two years of the pandemic.
Santa Cruz recorded the recovery of 3,383 patients and it is the department with the most people recovered on this day; Cochabamba was the second region where there were more recovered, with 1,744 in total. The rest of the regions do not reach these rates, 336 in Tarija, 256 in La Paz, 128 in Chuquisaca, 70 in Oruro and 26 in Potosí, while in Beni and Pando no recovered cases were recorded.
With the 86 deceased this Tuesday, the country has already reached 20,377 people who lost their battle against the coronavirus. The growing number of cases does not stop the groups that oppose vaccines and the vaccination card that began this Tuesday with clashes with the Police in the department of Cochabamba.
