Santo Domingo.-After a long search of 13 years, the lawyer Maria Virginia Dorrejo She was finally reunited with her son Dorian, who was taken by his father when he was eight years old, without his mother’s knowledge, to an unknown destination.
“With great joy, I share with you that I have finally found my son Dorian. I deeply thank all the people, institutions and media for their support and accompaniment during these more than 13 years of tireless searching. As a mother, I earnestly ask you to be empathetic with him and with our family, respecting our privacy,” Dorrejo wrote on her social networks with images hugging her son without showing his face.
“Now is the time to rebuild our lives with love and peace. God has been faithful, and I give Him all the glory and honor forever. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” she said.
Dorian, now 21, was kidnapped by his father, Marco Aurelio Giuseppe, of Swiss origin, on March 4, 2011, and since then Dorrejo has not stopped trying to find him, until they finally found him and reunited with him.
The place where María Virginia found her body and the method she used to find it are still unknown.
