The Congress Economy Commission will begin on Wednesday, September 17, the debate on the eighth Retirement of AFP fundsaccording to the president of the group, Víctor Flores, through his social networks.
For that session, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS), and the AFP Association to provide their opinions about it have been summoned.
“We reaffirm our commitment to a fair, transparent pension system and at the service of its contributors to ensure their well -being and future,” said the legislator.
Impact of AFP retirement
Currently in Congress there are more than 20 bills that raise the eighth retirement. With the previous seven accesses they have left the system more than S/115,000 million and it is estimated that with a new additional 27,000 million.
In addition, there is a risk that many people do not have the possibility of accessing a minimal pension when they retire.
