Azua.- AFP Reservations inaugurated its first service agency in this city to offer attention to clients in the southern part of the country and satisfy the demand of its affiliates, which has increased exponentially, compared to previous years.
The new office is part of the expansion plan of the Pension Fund Administrator, which aims to strengthen its structure to facilitate access to the different services it offers.
Joel Santos, general manager of AFP Reservas, said that in the southern region the entity has approximately 100,000 affiliates, which is why he considered it necessary to expand its network of offices and provide a high-level personalized service to customers living in that area. .
Speaking at the opening ceremony, he explained that AFP Reservations “wants to offer its customers service spaces closer to their areas of residence, without having to travel to the city of Santo Domingo.”
The expansion program recently began with the opening in Punta Cana. To give it continuity, during the next year 2022 it has been planned to open new offices throughout the national territory and thus complete the agencies that operate in the Santo Domingo and Santiago areas.
Currently the company has 584 thousand clients and from the month of January to the end of October of this year, the customer service office in Santo Domingo has provided more than 10,287 services and has granted RD $ 662,512 million in benefits to affiliates in the southern region .
Santos thanked the institutions that made it possible for AFP Reservas to achieve an experience of excellence in the customer service unit; especially to the Superintendency of Pensions, represented by Ramón Contreras, as well as to the directors of the Reserve Bank, Samuel Pereyra, general manager, and José Francisco Elías, sub-manager of subsidiaries.
Among the services that will be offered in the southern regional office are: application processing for all benefits provided by Law 87-01 of the Social Security System, updating of data as a member, request for account statements, information about the process to request the pension among others.
