“This significant reduction reflects our commitment to always work in search of the greatest benefit for members,” he said.
The reduction in the rate responds to the eighth tender for disability, survival and funeral insurance under a group policy (Sisco VIII). Likewise, this is the second consecutive reduction, since by 2024 it went from 1.84% (2023) to 1.7%. Six insurance companies participated in the tender.
It should be noted that this policy protects the contributor and their beneficiaries, since being active, it guarantees that they have the necessary funds for the payment of pensions, or expenses in the event of the death of the member.
According to the AAFP, as of August of this year, more than 15,000 people were registered who had the support of a disability pension that amounts to an average of S/1,856. Meanwhile, there are more than 118,000 people who have a survivor pension that amounts to approximately S/732.
